Festival bring people closer to each other they also bring joy and enthusiasm. It is known as the festival of colours Holi is one of the main festival of Hindus these festival symbolise good always wings over evil.

Holi is celebrated on the full moon night in the month of falgun it points out the end of winter and starting of spring. It is celebrated all over the world with great patient and devotion.There is a story about the origin of this festival Prahlad was the devotee of lord Vishnu which is father Hiran Kashyap did not like he try to kill his son with the help of his sister Holika who has blessed with the bone that fire could not burn her Holika entered into the fire but by god’s grace Prahlad came out saved from the fire and Holika was born to ashes. on this day Holika Dahan is perform in the night people beat drums and dance around the holy ka they worship Indian cone and distribute it among friends and relatives.

Next day it is Dulhan d everyone enjoy this colourful festival with colours, abir, gulal and balloons. They apply gulal and colours on the faces of each other and forget their differences this festival strengthens in the unity among the people. In India holi celebrated in various ways at different places the holy in bridge is the most popular holi all over India. There are some drawbacks of this festival.

Children throw water feel balloons on the survive which may heart them some people use harmful things like muddy water charcoal dresses etc in place of gulal use of such materials may cause skin allergies and irrigation in eyes we should not do such things that harm the dignity of the festival. People should understand that this festival is celebrated to forget mutual differences and leave together in peace and brotherhood.
